| The
Department of Code Administration regulates the construction,
demolition, and occupancy of all buildings and structures within
the City of Oil City. We review, approve, and issue all permits
required by code for the repair, alteration, or additions to
all public and private buildings and structures, as well as,
permits and plan review for new construction.
We
also have established a Property Maintenance/Fire Prevention
Program to protect the public health, safety, and welfare
in both existing residential and nonresidential structures
and on all existing premises. The main purpose is to reduce
risks created by deteriorated or unsafe buildings and help
us upgrade and maintain other existing structures.
Our
office hours are from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday thru Friday.
