City of Oil

Oil Valley Center for the Arts Classes

Classes are held at the historic National Transit Building, located at 206 Seneca St. in Oil City, starting in March and running through December. The Oil Valley Center for the Arts has a fully equipped classroom which accommodates up to 15 students. The classes draw students primarily from Northwestern Pennsylvania as well as other parts of PA. Students from other states and countries have attended OVCA classes.

The classes are presented by an outstanding group of local and regional artists. Classes are small, allowing for individual attention for each student. The artists conduct hands-on workshops showcasing their talents and assisting students to develop theirs. Most classes are for adults but several artists will provide sessions for kids during the year.

Registration Information: To register please send a check for class fees made payable to the Oil City Arts Council. Material fees will be collected in class by the instructors.
