Justus Park Drainage Improvements
The scope of work for Contract No. 24-PK1 - Justus Park Drainage Improvements includes 2,100 SY of fine surface grading, topsoil mix and seeding, 320 LF of 8" Perforated CPP Underdrain, 530 LF of 6" Perforated CPP Underdrain, Erosion and Sedimentation Control, Level Spreader, and all necessary appurtenances and restoration for said construction in Oil City, PA.
All work shall be constructed according to the Contract Drawings and Specifications which are on file at the office of the Owner and LSSE, 846 Fourth Avenue, Coraopolis, Pennsylvania 15108-1522.
Bid Documents are available upon request at City Hall, Oil City, PA. All bidders are required to buy the full set of drawings and specifications for a non-refundable deposit of $30.00 Any questions on ordering the bid documents are to be directed to Kelly Amos Ryen at 814-678-3018 or kamos@oilcity.org. Contract value exceeding $25,000, the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act (Act of 1961 P.L. 987), and The Public Works Employment Verification Act (July 2012) apply. The bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid, made payable to the City to guarantee the bidder's entrance into the contract if given the award.
The City reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive any informalities in the bidding. No bid may be withdrawn for ninety (90) calendar days after the scheduled time for receipt of bids.
The City shall (a) award the construction contract to the lowest responsible bidder therefore, or (b) reject all bids received within ninety (90) days of the date of bid opening; provided, however, that the City may, in its sole discretion, delay such award or rejection for up to one hundred twenty (120) days from the bid opening date until the City has received all required approvals from other governmental agencies.
Bidders on this work will be required to comply with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964.
