Hasson Park

Hasson Park is 48 acres of open and forested land containing many activities for the public. Hiking trials wind through the park amid a collection of rare rhododendron which are abundant with blooming color in the spring. A playground is located centrally and pavilions are available for picnics and parties. Immediately adjacent to Hasson Park is the public swimming pool, DekHockey rink, and ball fields. For information on renting pavilions in the park, contact City Hall at 814-678-3009.

There are four pavilion rental options:

(1) Large Pavilion

      - Capacity: 400 people

(2) Large 1/2 Pavilion

      - Capacity: 200 people
      - Electricity: Yes
      - Price: $100.00

(3) Horseshoe Pavilion

      - Capacity: 150 people
      - Electricity: No
      - Price: $50.00

(4) Creekside Pavilion

      - Capacity: 50 people
      - Electricity: Yes
      - Price: $50.00

Hasson Disc Golf Course

The newest addition to the park complex is a regulation disc golf course. The 18-hole course will challenge you uphill and down, across water hazards and natural obstacles. Score cards and course maps are available near the large pavilion. Leagues have formed and tournaments are held throughout the year. More information can be found at River Valley Disc Society.

Oil City Marina

The 7-acre Oil City Marina is one of only three public access points to the Allegheny River in Venango County. The Marina provides a boat launch, picnic area, fishing, access to the Justus Trail (part of the Erie to Pittsburgh Trail), parking, and public restrooms. The City is undergoing a process to improve the Marina to provide additional amenities and features to benefit residents and visitors.

James A. Nelles Memorial Swimming Pool

The municipal pool opened in 2008 and the bathhouse was renovated in 2017. The pool is open from early June through August each year. Download brochure for rates, hours, and more information.
