The City of Oil City is gathering information about water service line material for homes and businesses to comply with recent revisions to the Environmental Protection Agency's (EPA) Lead and Copper Rule. These revisions aim to protect public health and reduce exposure to lead and copper in drinking water. We need your help to verify the materials (lead/copper/galvanized/plastic) of your water service line. All you have to do is locate your water service line (typically located in the basement) and take this survey.
